Arts District Photo Safari

Today I joined a friend on a photo safari in the downtown area of Las Vegas. Well, actually we ended up in The Arts District. I have been in Vegas for almost 18 years and it is my first time in this area! Another oops. But now I have been there and will go more often. Here is a photo from the area... looking forward to doing shoots there soon.

Techatticup, Nevada

I am excited to have found a new location to do some shoots. It is located less than an hour from Vegas and has more scenery in one location than I have found in this area. From delapidated barns, to planes dive-bombed in the ground, to old cars. And only a few minutes down the road is the beautiful Colorado River with more beautiful scenery. Here are just a few pictures of the area. Enjoy!

Intimate Photography - Boudoir

I have been debating whether I wanted to add boudoir shoots as an option for my photography. I decided I should at least try it and found a willing model who was excited to help me out. I did not want to have the average boudoir shoot, but rather I was going for a piece of fine art that a woman would be excited to hang in her home. The end result? Well, duh. Why did I wait so long? Take a look at just a few of the shots we took.

Studio Fun!

Well, it's been a while since I have posted a blog. So, I am going to be posting a few, starting with some Studio Fun this past April.

I had a group of models come so I could shoot some high key portraits and some very fun pictures were captured. If you have ever been to The Picture People, you have seen high key photography. They shoot almost everything they do in high key format. There is no going wrong with high key. It is a flattering lighting situation for almost everyone. Take a look...this is Nicole and she modeled for some senior pictures. She was fun and great to work with! She brought a few props and various outfits, which is always good to have with senior pictures. Doing location shots are also a favorite with seniors.

She also brought her niece...who was adorable! AND her sister.

Photographing Chow Chows

Welcome back to Tracey Ford Perry Photography! This weekend I had the opportunity to do a pet photo shoot. I had the pleasure to work and photograph three beautiful Chow puppies. Their owner is a World Champion Breeder and his dogs attend and win dog shows all over the world! Needless to say, the puppies were absolutely beautiful! Here is just one of the photos capturing the doll-like face of one of his champion breed pups. Doesn't he look like a giant teddy bear?!



Gotta love the pet photography aspect of this job!

Welcome to Tracey Ford Perry Photography!

Hi, and welcome to Tracey Ford Perry Photography. I am an artistic photographer located in the Henderson area of the Las Vegas Valley. I have lived in the Vegas Valley for over 17 years and had another two years here in the early 80s. Okay, I guess that ages me, but what I am trying to say is that I have been here a LONG time! I have seen many changes in not only the Strip and Fremont Street, but I have seen the development of Summerlin, and Lake Las Vegas as well as the growth of Las Vegas and Henderson.

Not too long ago, I realized my passion for photography. 2009 is my year, and I have decided to open Tracey Ford Perry Photography. It is a new era for me, and I am excited to share with you my experiences and, hopefully, help you preserve those special moments in life…

Finding my niche, I am specializing in pregnancy and pet photography. This does not limit me, however. I am excited to photograph you for Senior Pictures, your children and families, as well as provide event and commercial photography. Additionally, I offer my services for photo restoration.
